‘And what a plan! This vast operation is undoubtedly the most complicated and difficult that has ever occurred. It involves tides, wind, waves, visibility, both from the air and the sea standpoint, and the combined employment of land, air and sea forces in the highest degree of intimacy and in contact with conditions which could not and cannot be fully foreseen.’
D-Day Hel is a historical reenactment of World War II events that brings to life the courage of soldiers and everyday life during that era.
Experience the emotions felt by soldiers. Watch reenactments of the Battle of Normandy, take part in lectures, and discover the equipment used by Allied and German forces.

No. Registration is required only for organizations, independent reenactors taking part in historical reenactments, and participants with historical vehicles taking part in vehicle parades.
What should I expect during the reenactments?
The show includes pyrotechnic effects, and exploding or burning materials may cause loud noise, flashes of light, heavy smoke, and dust. Yes, but restrictions apply. Dogs and other animals are not allowed in the event area during reenactments due to pyrotechnics, blank firing weapons, and high noise levels, which may be harmful or stressful for animals. Assistance dogs for people with disabilities, including guide dogs, are allowed with valid documentation and up-to-date vaccinations.
Is the event accessible for people with disabilities?
