MEDIA ACCREDITATION RULES

The following rules apply to media representatives: journalists, photographers, photojournalists, camera operators, etc.

Obtaining press accreditation allows access to designated media zones. These zones are organized for selected parts of the program.

Accredited individuals will receive a special ID badge indicating their role.

This procedure is mandatory for all journalists, photographers, photojournalists, and camera operators, especially for individuals taking photos without representing any official media outlet.

During the D-Day Hel 2026 event, press accreditation will only be issued upon presentation of a valid press ID issued by a registered media outlet recognized by the competent Regional Court.

The Organizer reserves the right to deny accreditation to individuals not affiliated with any media outlet and to revoke accreditation from those who disrupt the course of reenactments or other D-Day Hel 2026 events.

To obtain press accreditation, please complete the application form by August 5, 2026.

After August 5, 2026, and during the D-Day Hel 2026 event, press accreditation will only be issued upon presentation of a valid press ID issued by a registered media outlet recognized by the competent Regional Court.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Noise – during historical reenactments expect loud gunfire and explosion sounds (people sensitive to noise should bring hearing protection),
  • Smoke and dust – reenactments involve battlefield simulation effects (pyrotechnics), which may pose a risk to electronic equipment,
  • Historical vehicles – most reenactment activities involve historical vehicles – stay alert and ensure your safety at all times.
